TEACHING INSTITUTION FOR BLIND CHILDREN
The HAA teaching institution for the blind is situated in Shar-e-Ray in south of Tehran. The school has some 60 fully blind or partially sighted pupils and they required specialised equipment and teaching assistants for learning purposes. In 2017 FACE Foundation successfully managed to provide the following requirements for the school.
- School has been given a complete face lift with redecoration of the rooms to provide a clean and healthy surroundings for the children.
- Provided brand new benches for all pupils in the school.
- All blind children have been provided with the latest electronic audio learning equipment.
- Provided a brand new computer to assist the childrens learning.
- Provided specialised sports facilities for blind children.
- Provided school with the state of the art braille printer.
