SUPPORT FOR REFUGEE CHILDREN IN ETHIOPIA
Partnership:
FACE Foundation has proudly partnered with Plan International UK charity to support and deliver long-term, sustainable programmes which transform children’s lives in some of the world’s poorest countries. “Safe school for refugees in Ethiopia” project aims to transform the lives of 1000s of children.
The Project:
To protect children, both refugees and those from host communities, in Gambella’s refugee camps and get them back into education. By boosting education for both newcomers and local children, the most vulnerable are kept safe and given the chance to learn. The project runs from March 2018 to February 2022.
Our Impact:
FACE Foundation share of the project (A total of £5000 matched by further £15000 from the EU) is to provide for all educational and learning needs and school materials together with most importantly, safe environments for 350 children aged 3-14 for a period of 4 years, transforming their lives for ever.
Updates:
FACE Foundation aims to provide progress updates every six months, including information, photographs and stories from the children benefiting from our support and the project.
