PAKDASHT SEWING WORKSHOP PROJECT
In mid-2019, FACE Foundation began provisioning of full support for an entrepreneurship project called “The Pakdasht Sewing Workshop”. This work involved setting up a cloths manufacturing workshop in Pakdasht near Varamin to employ and train single mothers with orphan children. FACE Foundation commited fully to provide all the required equipment, accessories, salaries for teaching/training personnel and the costs of day to day running of the workshop. The project started towrds the end of 2019 and we currently have over 20 women working full time at the workshop 6 days a week. We have plans to expand the workshop eventually to a total workforce of 37 women as soon as the finances are in place. These women are strugling with their lives and this project gives them the opportunity to learn new skills and a the same time a chance to earn their living.
