HAKIM REHABILITATION CENTRE
Hakim rehabilitation centre, Karaj, provides care for 100 physically and mentally disadvantaged children aged 14 and over. There are no governmental support and the only means of funds for the centre is provided by general public and other charities. The well being of these children requires good nutrition, medical attention, 24 hours round the clock care and appropriate environment. In December 2018 FACE Foundation provided the centre with much needed specialised chairs plus an air con/heater system for their only rehabilitation activity room. Without these contributions the room was unusable and the children could not make any use of the available space. In addition to the one off help FACE Foundation started to provide a regular support by providing the centre with their prioritised monthly requirements. Recently we have provided 60 pairs of glasses for the children who required reading glasses.
